  UWM Celtic Studies Department Samhain Celebration

  Join the Center for Celtic Studies and Milwaukee’s own Blackthorn Folly for a celebration of the Celtic Otherworld through live music, Celtic ghost stories, a costume contest, refreshments and more. The event will take place at the EQI Fire Circle outside of UWM Merrill Hall, weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, the event will take place in Mitchell Hall 195.

  Free and open to the public! Bring your friends!

  Tentative Program:
  5 pm – 5:45 pm — Blackthorn Folly
  6 pm – 6:30 pm — Celtic Stories & Songs, Conchobhar Mac Giolla Bhríde and José Lanters
  6:30 pm – 6:45 pm — Costume Contest
  Throughout the evening: Divination by Merribeth, refreshments, and games.
